For accountants and payroll firms

Updated 3 September 2026

Under the draft amendment, every employer must have a written pay system with job groups from 1 January 2027. Your clients do not know yet — and when they find out, they will ask you. We do not want you to write it for them. We want you to be able to tell them what to do.

What we need from the client: two payroll exports without names — the annual export for the previous year and the current payroll state (job title, gender, pay for work, paid hours, experience, region, weekly hours). We will send sample files before the first client. If your payroll system exports differently, tell us — that is exactly what we want to hear before the client does.

What the client gets: job groups with justification, the internal pay-system regulation, figures by group, pay ranges for job ads, employee replies and the evidence pack. The decisions are the client's.

What you get: a client whose problem is solved before December, documents to point to when the labour inspectorate asks, and a partner programme for firms that bring more clients — terms agreed in person after the pilot.

What we do not ask of you: sending data without a contract, or sending names and ID numbers.
